Ziyech reveals love for former Chelsea stars


Chelsea’s new signing Hakim Ziyech has revealed that he loved watching Didier Drogba and Frank Lmapard while growing up in the Netherlands.

Ziyech, 27, agreed a move from Ajax to the Premier League in February and supporters have been waiting with great anticipation to watch the classy attacking midfielder in action ever since.

The Morrocan international was speaking with the official Chelsea website where he was asked about his expectations under his new manager Frank Lampard, the attacking midfielder states that he is impressed with the manager and he has always been a fan of his new manager since his active playing days. He admitted he will learn a lot from the former England international.

When Ziyech was asked about the English Premier League, he revealed that the Epl is easily the best and the most followed league around the world, he admitted it’s a dream come true for him to finally have the opportunity to play at the highest level of the game.

Ziyech was at Stamford Bridge on Monday where he watched his new side laboured to a narrow 1-0vicotry over Norwich City. A victory that took Lampard’s side a step closer towards champions league qualification.
