Liverpool legend and Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has gone all out in his praise of Jurgen Klopp. He stated that the Reds should already be starting work on a statue for the boss.
It is no secret that Klopp has done a remarkable job since taking over at Anfield in October 2015. The Reds now just two wins away from securing their first ever Premier League title in three decades. The German has also delivered their sixth European triumph, after winning the Champions League last season.
Gerrard has heaped praise on the Reds boss, labelling him the best manager in the world. The former Liverpool captain didn’t stop there, however, adding that the club should also be looking to build a statue in order to show their appreciation.
Gerrard revealed that he has seen and met many good and successful managers, but he believes that there’s a way Klopp carries himself that sets him apart from other great managers. He declared the club will do well to erect a statue in memory of the enigmatic tactician.
Gerrard also acknowledged that city neighbour Everton have done well for themselves by securing the services of Carlo Ancelloti.
