AS Roma are ready to listen to offers for highly-rated forward Nicolo Zaniola. The Italian international is regarded as one of the top young players in the Italian League.
However, the Italian giants could be forced to sell due to financial constraints. Corriere dello Sport claims that Roma are facing debts of around €140 million if they fail to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
This would push the club to cash-in on their prized assets to maintain financial balance. Zaniolo is viewed as one of the players that could be sold for a good fee.
The young midfielder saw his season truncated by a devastating knee injury. However, he is almost fully recovered from the injury and could feature before the end of the campaign.
Roma would be willing to sell for around €,60-70 million and there is growing interest in the forward. English sides Tottenham and Liverpool have been linked with moves as well as Italian giants Juventus.
With Atalanta solidifying their hold on the final Champions League spot, it would be increasingly unlikely for Zaniolo to remain at the Italian club beyond the summer.
