Everton and Liverpool are in a two way battle for defender Boubacar Kamara. The Olympique Marseille defender has enjoyed a breakout campaign and there have been uncertainty about his contract situation.
It is understood that the Covid 19 pandemic means that clubs would have to sell to generate much-needed income. Kamara is expected to leave in the summer and Marseille would have to sell for the right price.
Marseille value the youngster at around €30m as they look to maximize his talents for a huge payday. Liverpool are thought to be interested in the defender and are ready to splash cash for the defender.
Everton are also keen on a defender as manager Carlo Ancelotti is looking to build a team capable of finishing in Europe next season.
Liverpool are unlikely to make this a major priority and Everton are in the prime position to sign the young defender. We will be monitoring the developments in the trade within the coming week.
