Liverpool are closing in on the transfer for Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara according to reports from Spain.
There have been growing speculations about the midfielder in recent days following his refusal to sign a new deal with the German giants.
Spanish tabloid Sport says that Liverpool have agreed personal terms with the 29 year old whose contract is set to expire next summer. Thiago is regarded as one of the best midfielders in the past decade with his creativity and ball intelligence worldclass.
However his career has been blighted by injuries nevertheless Liverpool are willing to bring him to England this summer.
Bayern Munich appear to have lost hope in retaining the midfielder with club chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge revealing that the player wants to leave in a recent interview with Bild.
