Liverpool end 30 years Premier League title drought

Liverpool have ended their 30 year wait for a Premier League title following Manchester City loss at Chelsea.

Manchester City went into the game knowing that a victory would delay the title coronation for their rivals.

However they faltered as Chelsea pegged the Citizens with a morale boosting 2-1 victory. USA international had broken the deadlock in the first half following a defensive mix-up between Gundogan and Mendy.

City talisman Kevin De Bruyne responded with a well taken freekick before the Blues scored the winner from the spot following a Red Card to City ace Fernandinho.

Liverpool fans and players could celebrate after the final whistle as it mathematically confirmed the Reds as EPL champions.

The Anfield outfit have been on a class of their own with ruthlessness and efficacy a Hallmark of their season.

Manager Jurgen Klopp has been able to assemble a team that is hungry for success and able to dominate.

It is up to the other teams to find a way to compete as a dynasty is about to begin within the EPL
