Watford attacker Ismaila Sarr is on the shopping list of Liverpool. The Watford Observer says Liverpool is one of at least three Premier League clubs to show initial interest in Sarr, as clubs prepare to test the Hornets resolve over their record signing.
The Senegalese winger was part of the Watford squad who broke Liverpool’s unbeaten record in the English Premier League where he scored twice to help the Hornets to a comfortable three-nil.
The report goes on to state that Liverpool are looking to capitalize on Watford’s relegation to the Championship, along with Wolves and Crystal Palace.
Although no bid has been submitted yet, the Premier League Champions has reached out to the Watford player’s representatives to inquire about his availability.
It is understood however that both Wolves and Palace’s interest would only materialize should their respective assets Adama Traore and Wilfried Zaha move elsewhere during the summer transfer window, with Sarr seen as a ready-made replacement.
Liverpool has also been linked with Jadon Sancho earlier this season but Jurgen Klopp has addressed the media concerning the speculations stating that the Reds does not have the transfer budget expected to price Sancho away from Dortmund leaving only Manchester United and Chelsea as favorites.
