Liverpool attacker Sadio Mane is expected to be fit for Liverpool’s trip to bottom side Norwich City. Sadio Mane suffered a hamstring injury while playing against Wolves, and he has been out since late January, but he is expected back in the squad against Norwich city.
The 27-year-old who has been out since January 23 has missed 3 matches for Liverpool, West Ham, Southampton and another FA cup against Shrewsbury. Liverpool have managed the absence of Mane well, as they have won the two league matches without him, but they were forced into a replay against Shrewsbury.
The replay that was successfully negotiated by the under 23 side. Jurgen Klopp chose to rest his first-team stars during the winter break, and the young Reds didn’t disappoint, as they ran out 1-0 winners over the league one side.
The winter break has, however, come at a good time for Liverpool, as it gave Liverpool the chance to nurse a few members of their injured stars back into contention, with Mane among those to have made a welcome return to training.
James Milner, who has been absent since the FA Cup derby win over Everton on January 5, is also pushing for a place in the Reds’ plans for a trip to Carrow Road on Saturday.
