Napoli chief refutes Koulibay claims


Napoli director Cristiano Giuntoli has refuted claims regarding an offer fr highly-rated defender Kalidou Koulibaly. 

Koulibaly has been linked with a move to the EPL in the past few summers with no concrete bid and Giuntoli insist that is the case with this latest speculations. 

Speaking to reporters he revealed that the club would take their time before making a decision. “At this moment, we haven’t received any offers. Koulibaly had important offers in the past and a great deal of interest, but we are in no rush to make decisions.

“We consider our players important and will discuss the situation with them.” He said. 

Manchester City and Liverpool have been linked with a move for the defender regarded as the one of the best in World football. 

Koulibaly is seen as an important figure in the Naples team and it would be interesting to see whether the club can keep him for one more season.
