Michael Zorc, the Borussia Dortmund sporting director, has hinted that Manchester United target, Jadon Sancho will be allowed to leave the club this summer, as he failed to acknowledge that the player will stay in Germany beyond this summer.
The young English man has enjoyed another good season with BVB, as he has achieved double figures in both goals and assists. He made a record last weekend as the quickest teenager to register 25 goals in the German top flight.
He has helped BVB to the round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League and also helping them to 4th on the table and they are writhing touching distance to table topper Bayern Munchen.
Zorc stated that it is understood that Jadon’s performance week in week out will attract top clubs around Europe, but he is confident that the player is committed to the course in Dortmund.
Such immense form for Die Borussen has placed Sancho among the finest talents in world football. He has continued to improve since his joining the club, and is already within touching distance of surpassing his league figures from last season – this despite playing 16 matches less. With the European Championships coming up in the summer, his place in Gareth Southgate’s England squad looks assured.
