Manchester United Looking To Offload Out Of Favour Star

Manchester United are looking to sell Serbian midfielder Nemanja Matic according to news from England. Matic contract is due to expire at the end of the present campaign. Though Man utd have the option to extend the deal for another year.

According to a report from England, United are looking forward to exercising the right in order to sustain the player’s resale value if no clubs come up with a suitable bid for the 31-year-old in January.

Man utd will demand £15 million for the Serbian international, who cost them over £40 million in 2017, the report further states that United are ready to accept a lower bid in order to take his high wage bill off the book.

A January exit looks the desired solution for the two parties, as the player has fallen down the pecking order, he has made only two appearances so far this season, he is behind McTominay, Fred and Pereira for the midfield spot, while United, on the other hand, wants to offload the  player due to his huge wages.

Nemanja Matic left the training ground after 24 minutes of training, while the rest of the squad continued with the session, he was also absent at the gala at Old Trafford while the rest of his teammates were present.

Matic will not be short of suitors, as Inter Milan and Athletico have shown interest in the player while Juventus are expected to pounce if if it comes down to a free deal.
