David Moyes has declared that Declan Rice won’t be leaving West Ham unless the club receives a very convincing offer. Rice has been ever present for West Ham in the current campaign. He has not missed a single minute of Premier League action all through the season.
Rice, 21, has been a subject to interest from top English sides with Chelsea and Manchester United seemingly at the front of the queue. Frank Lampard is said to be eyeing up a £45m move for the England international, with a view to converting him into a centre back- a position Rice is conversant with.
Chelsea have done a good business for next season so far, they have added Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner from Ajax and RB Leipzig respectively. The West London club is also on the verge of completing a mega deal for Kai Havertz of Bayern Leverkusen. Chelsea are not done as they are determined to add Rice to the list of new additions ahead of next season.
But the Hammer boss has made it clear that it will take a huge amount to price Rice away from the Olympic stadium. He stated that the importance of Rice can not be blown out of proportion, as the player has grown to be one of the most important players in the squad.
