According to reports coming from Italy, Serie A side Roma are prepared to make a fresh bid to sign out-of-favour Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren.
The Croatia international was known to be the subject of interest from the Serie A club earlier this month with reports claiming that he could be making the switch to Italy for a fee believed to be worth around £22.5 million.
However, Roma are now believed to only be interested in a loan deal for the defender. The club’s current financial situation means they are now only able to entertain loans after they spent £90 million on new recruits this summer and since the club failed to qualify for Champions League this has had a bad effect on their financing.
Lovren is yet to feature in any of Liverpool’s matches so far this season.
